Regular visitors have been deprived of prime seating at the Fountain Pond for some time, as the beloved mid-century style bench flanking the pond’s south side was badly deteriorating.

This winter, taking advantage of the drier weather, Facilities Manager Ken Cottrell undertook the reconstruction of this favorite spot.
Now rebuilt from scratch from curved redwood slats, the bench is once again an ideal place to catch a little sun at this time of year. Come relax and enjoy this elegant addition to our best seats around the grounds.
