Flexible Workspace at
Marin Art and Garden Center

The Flexible Workspace at Marin Art and Garden Center is a new resource for people who need a workspace away from home for occasional or regular office work during these unusual times.

We will be accepting a limited number of applications to use the three workspaces in our historic Northgate Building by booking in advance. A one-time subscriber enrollment fee applies. Subscribers are welcome to enjoy the beautiful 11-acre grounds of Marin Art and Garden Center. We are observing all COVID protocols to assure the health and safety of our community.

The Northgate Building was designed by architect Russell Emmons of the Wurster, Bernardi, & Emmons firm in 1955 as one of the original buildings constructed for Marin Art and Garden Center in the modernist style. Its three work spaces feature garden views, and an adjoining deck offers space to take a break, eat lunch, or make a private phone call.

Each space has a different character and use. All share a printer and restroom. There are multiple electrical outlets and there is excellent wifi throughout the building and on the deck.

The booking process will all be contact-free: you will reserve your preferred space online or by downloading an app onto your phone; once you book the space, you will receive a code to unlock the door. Space can be reserved for a half or whole day, or for as little as two hours.

All spaces will be cleaned between each use and restrooms and common areas will be cleaned daily. COVID protocols for distancing and face coverings are in effect throughout Marin Art and Garden Center.
