President of the Board of Trustees Diane Doodha, and philanthropist Phoebe Cowles
Thanks to the generosity of philanthropist Phoebe Cowles, the Marin Art and Garden Center has a new look.
Last month, Marin Art and Garden Center installed a new sign at its entry on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Ross, featuring its new logo and an invitation for visitors to enjoy the beautiful historic property.
The sign was funded by a generous gift from philanthropist and garden lover Phoebe Cowles, who has a home in Kentfield in addition to her San Francisco residence. This significant gift also funded a new Visitor’s Map and Guide, an update to this website, and a new entry sequence that will welcome visitors and give the information about the Center’s history, its mid-century modern architecture, heritage trees, and seasonal plantings.
Phoebe recognizes the value of the Center in the community, saying , “the Marin Art and Garden Center is such an important place, for everyone in Marin!”
Your gift to the Marin Garden Fund helps sustain this important place, for everyone to enjoy.
