Mary L. Harden has been a passionate educator for 50 years. After retirement she created and directed the Botanical Illustration program for the San Francisco Garden Society at Strybing Arboretum for seven years and was an art instructor at the Sharon Art studio for eight years. Mary currently directs and teaches her original and extensive curriculum in botanical art through the Mary L. Harden School of Botanical Illustration. Mary has curated 39 botanical exhibits in the past 15 years to benefit local nonprofit educational organizations and to increase environmental awareness.
