The Barn theater is one of the oldest buildings at MAGC. From its origins as an actual barn in the nineteenth century, it was converted to a theater 75 years later and has been the home of the Ross Valley Players since 1939. RVP is the oldest continually-operating community theater west of the Mississippi, but happily, the group was recently able to upgrade its seats so theater-goers are now sitting in twenty-first century comfort. These new seats are wider and have more leg room, and the new configuration make it much easier for people in wheelchairs (and their companions) to get seated and enjoy the show. RVP’s production of “These Shining Lives” runs March 8 through 31, so you can try out the updated and upgraded options for yourself.
