At times it has been difficult to find the time to pen these Notes from the Garden. Because it is an enjoyable endeavor, I am sure to get to it, though.
Relaying news and notes from our gardens gives me a respite from a gardener’s never-ending list of things to do. In these unfettered moments, I am able to reflect on the awesome work my staff has completed, and of the work yet to be done.
Being adverse to defer, we work hard to keep the boxes on the to-do list checked off. Carving out time to share what’s happening at Marin Art and Garden Center allows me the unfettered moment I have come to enjoy, if not require!
Today’s unfettered thoughts do not stray far from the garden:
- Irrigation—time to turn it back on
- Pollen!
- No more threat of frost
- Pride of Gibraltar (Cerinthe)
- Summer Solstice in June
And a final thought for me: what good shall I do this day?
See you in our gardens!
