Visit Marin Art and Garden Center

There is no fee to visit Marin Art and Garden Center. Our grounds are open to foot traffic from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. The parking lot is open from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays). Our office is currently closed and most staff is working remotely. For hours of other businesses at the Center, please check their websites.

Please observe the following site rules that will allow everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit:

Maintain physical distance

You should not enter the garden if you think you have COVID-19 symptoms
Keep six feet away from other people
Everyone, including children over age two, must wear a face covering when approaching others
No groups larger than six people

Avoid injury to yourself and others

Children must be supervised at all times, and kept 6 feet from others
Walk your bicycle or scooter, carry your skateboard
Climbing on trees and rocks is not permitted
Be aware of others—do not block paths or high-traffic areas
We are a smoke-free (including vaping) and drug-free environment

Respect the gardens

Help protect the plants and flowers so that everyone can enjoy them—picking or pruning is not allowed
Please be careful when walking through the gardens—stay on the paths at all times
Dogs must be on a leash and stay on paths at all times
Balloons damage the environment and are not permitted
To protect the lawns, balls, ball games or Frisbees are not allowed
No blankets, bikes, strollers or wagons are allowed on lawns
No picnicking
Dispose of waste in receptacles provided

There is a $100 fee for professional portrait photography on the grounds. Please complete the form below and call the office number at 415-455-5260 to arrange payment.
