Visit Marin Art and Garden Center

There is no fee to visit Marin Art and Garden Center. Our grounds are open to foot traffic from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. The parking lot and public restrooms are open from 10 am to 4 pm.
Our office is currently closed and most staff is working remotely. For hours of other businesses at the Center, please check their websites.

Please observe the following site rules that will allow everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit:

Please follow all current State and local health requirements while on the grounds.

To keep the gardens safe for all:
  • Walk your bicycle, skateboard or scooter
  • Keep children under supervision at all times 
  • For safety, climbing on trees and rocks is not permitted
  • Ball games and frisbees impact the enjoyment of all and are not allowed
  • Keep paths and high-traffic areas clear and unblocked for all
  • We are a smoke-free and drug-free environment
Help us to keep the gardens beautiful:
  • Please keep to paths and out of planting beds and ponds
  • Dogs must be on leash and on the paths at all times
  • Please dispose of all waste in receptacles provided
  • Balloons damage the environment and are not permitted
  • Our lawns are sensitive areas —please no blankets, bikes, dogs, strollers or wagons on lawns
  • Our plants and flowers are for the enjoyment of all—please do not pick them
There is a $100 hourly fee for professional portrait photography on the grounds. Please complete the form below and make a secure payment; we will contact you to confirm availability.
